Dear Friend of the Arts,                                               August 2017
Create, Newport's Community Center for the Arts, must put a new face on the building that houses many opportunities to educate, enhance, promote, and display the talent of children and adults. This facility also provides unique and accessible art studios, classes, concert performances, community events and more. 
Our renovation goals:

1. The structure is sound, but replacing leaky, single paneledd office windows is imperative to reduce energy costs. New windows will also help protect and secure the building.
2. Scraping and repainting the exterior will not only give us a fresh new look, it will extend the building’s life.
3. The back lawn needs repair after last year’s sewer line replacement. 
4. The total estimated cost of these important projects is approximately $ 6,500.

We are writing you for assistance to assure Create, run entirely by volunteers, will continue to have a facility that provides community opportunities and programs.
Any monetary assistance for this project would be sincerely appreciated.
